Introducing Jonathan Zion on bass guitar…or known to his friends as JZ

Jonathan is a bassist and composer from Melbourne and was our first non Qld based Filthy Animal. He’s performed in Australia and overseas with Ian Moss, Pete Murray, Deborah Conway and Lior. In 2016 he toured Japan with Paul Grabowsky performing at The Tokyo Jazz Festival and has appeared at many other local and international jazz festivals. 

Jonathan has quite the presence on stage with his funky playing style and imposing stature! You’re in for a treat with JZ in the lineup!
